Season 1

Season 2

Timeframe: 18 Months later
Main Threat: Dirty bomb detonation
Resolution: George Mason flies it to the Mojave.
Sub-threat: Microchip containing audio of all participants
Resolution: Sherry Palmer helps catch them at the Coliseum
Enemies: Joseph Wald / Kingsley
Location: Los Angeles
New Main Characters: Paula Schaeffer (CTU Tech), Warners (Maire, Kate, Bob)
Deaths & Departures: George Mason (CTU Director), Paula Schaeffer, Reza Naiyeer (groom to be), Sherry Palmer
Notes: David Palmer is now President. He convinces Jack to come back to CTU. Mason dies and Jack is appointed acting Director of CTU.

Season 3

Timeframe: 12 months later
Main Threat: Virus release
Resolution: Contained at hotel, contained in school
Sub-threat: Kidnapped Michelle, Tony acts as a mole to get her back
Resolution: Jack hunts everyone down!
Enemies: Ramon & Hector Salazar / Stephen Saunders
Location: Los Angeles & Mexico
New Main Characters: Chase Edmunds, Chloe O'Brian, Claudia (Jack's love interest)
Deaths & Departures: Nina Myers (by Jack @ CTU), Ryan Chapelle (by Jack!)
Notes: Kim is now employed by CTU. Tony is now CTU Director and married to Michelle. Jack has infiltrated the Salazar drug cartel and has developed a heroin habit and been tatooed to keep his cover. Kim is dating Chase. Tony is shot in the neck, but survives. The virus is released in the Hotel and it is contained, but not before many deaths including Gael (CTU Tech). Chase locks the last vial of virus to himself and Jack cuts off his arm to get the virus into the containment unit. Chase's arm is later re-attached.

Season 4

Timeframe: 12 months + later
Main Threat: Nuclear warhead missile launch
Resolution: Marwan is killed (clips from Jack's bloody hand and falls from building),
Chloe decodes info on Marwan to determin the missle target. Air Force shoots it down.
Sub-threat: Nuclear power facilities meltdown sequences, Sec. of Defense Heller's assasination
Resolution: Edgar offs most facilities, then comes through on the last one after his mother dies
Enemies: Marwan / Navi, Dina & Behrooz Araz
Location: Los Angeles
New Main Characters: President Charles Logan, Audrey Raines, Secretary Heller, Edgar Styles, Erin Driscoll, Curtis Manning
Deaths & Departures: Navi (by Behrooz), Dina
Notes: Jack is dating Audrey Raines. Air Force One is shot down and the Nuclear Football is stolen. While storming the Chinese Consulate for Lee (who was helping Marwan with the warheads), the Chinese Consul is killed.
Erin Driscoll's (new CTU Director) daughter commits suicide. Driscoll gives command to Tony. Jack Bauer fakes death at the end, aided by Michelle, Tony and Chloe.

Season 5

Timeframe: 18 months later
Main Threat: Nerve gas container detonations (several)
Resolution: Containers are hunted down one by one
Sub-threat: Logan's plot to kill Jack to cover the evidence of his envolvment
Resolution: Jack gets the evidence (audio recording) to CTU
Enemies: Henderson (Jack's old boss) / Pres Logan / White House Staff Walter Cummings
Location: Los Angeles
New Main Characters: "Frank Flynn” (Jack), Buchanan (CTU Special Agent in Charge)
Deaths & Departures: David Palmer, Tony Almeida, Michelle Dressler, Edgar Styles
Notes: Audrey is reunited w/ Jack. David Palmer is assasinated in the first hour, Michelle is killed in her driveway, Henderson kills Tony at CTU. Jack is brought out of hiding by being framed as the killer. The director, the hobit, makes a suicide run in CTU to vent the nerve gas and save the others inside CTU. Edgar is killed inside CTU by a nerve canister released (tear). Last scene of last hour, the Chinese kidnap Jack and put him on a container ship bound for China. Mystery "Bluetooth Guy" that's calling the shots gets away scott free!

Season 6 - Current

Timeframe: 20 months later
Main Threat: Five nuclear "suitcase" bombs
Resolution: Pending
Sub-threat: President Wayne Palmer's assasination
Resolution: He's out of his coma, back from "crashing" and back in the office giving orders... SWEET!
Enemies: Fayed, Graem "Bluetooth Guy" Bauer, Phillip Bauer (Jack's dad), Gredenko, White House Deputy Reed
Location: Valencia, Simi Valley, Los Angeles and Washington D.C.
New Main Characters: Milo & Morris - two dorks Chloe is involved with. All three work at CTU.
Deaths & Departures: Curtis Manning (by Jack!), Graem Bauer
Notes: Jack shoots and kills Curtis, leaving him completely distraught. Jack's brother turns on him, but his father, Phillip, is the mastermind. Phillip kills Graem and blams Jack. Reed blows the bomb in the White House basement. Palmer lives, is comatose, then crashes and is back in office all in one hour! Milo and Nadia are hookin' up! Is Audrey really dead???
